Assignment of AIS Reports When documenting a control, you can assign reports from the
Audit Information System (AIS)
to the control, even if you run AIS in a different system. In this way, you can make available for the control test and for the control assessment auditing data that has been compiled in AIS reports.
In the system in which you run MIC, there is an RFC destination to the system in which you run AIS (the AIS system) (in transaction SM59).
In Customizing for MIC, you have performed the following IMG activities under
Integration with Audit Information System (AIS)
:
Select RFC Destinations of Available AIS Systems
Assign AIS Systems to Organizational Units
When documenting a control (centrally and for organizational unit), you can include in the
AIS Reports
tab page AIS reports from those systems that you have entered in Customizing. When you create a new entry, the system first inserts an entry with the system given the highest priority (you specify the priority of systems in Customizing). However, you can change the system entered first and then use the input help for the
AIS Report (TranCode)
field to call a search help for reports available in the AIS system.
The reports in AIS are structured by standard roles. AIS delivers those standard roles that have the character string AUDIT in their technical name. For this reason, the search help for selecting the AIS reports in the
Role
field contains the search string *AUDIT* by default. If you have created your own AIS roles, you need to change this search string accordingly to incorporate them.
Once the reports have been assigned, you can upload the translations of the reports from the AIS system. You do this in Customizing for MIC under .
Another activity in Customizing provides a central overview of which controls are assigned to which AIS reports. You find this IMG activity under . Note that the system only displays data for those organizational units for which you have at least display authorization.
